Blue Bird Decorative Tile

This is a monoprint of  a painting I made of a bright blue bird in a sea of flowers.  I printed the image onto porcelain clay and then carved the details into the painting.  Before the final glaze firing I applied an underglaze wash to emphasize the carving and create an antiqued appearance.  a metal hanger has been attached to the back for your convenience.
